modest and clean rooms with separate bathroom as well as a shower, and decent personnel. exceptionally nice and absolutely perfect location in hirtshals, really close to a ferry from norway and strandlyst and norway and germany and austria. also, close to the beach with great restaurant close.

The staff here were super friendly and helpful 🌟. the room with the queen bed was cozy and warm, plus the bathroom was a good size. the beds were really comfy, and there was central heating and even an ironing board available.

Very helpfull and welcoming. Our ferry was delayed so did not arrive till after midnight but we were quickly checked in and room sorted without any drama or fuss. A good nights sleep and a welcome breakfast next morning. Very good.

The shower was set at a low temperature and vasculated from lukewarm to cold. Rooms were Spartan more like a hostel than a hotel. Window didn't open enough to keep it from being really hot all night long. Over priced

We got great value for our money with comfortable rooms and beds at Hotel Strandlyst. The location was perfect, close to the ferry terminal and just a short walk from the beach. The staff treated us like family, giving us advice on local restaurants and ensuring we had a fantastic stay.

The breakfast could have been improved with more fish dishes to choose from.

The guest room had all the basic facilities we needed like central heating and an ironing set, and the staff provided efficient and friendly service.

The rooms were fairly clean.

The standard of the room was a disaster. It has not been renovated since the 1950s or 1960s. We had a double room with a small "double bed" (140 cm!) and only one person could be standing at the floor at a time. The other person had to be sitting in one of the 2 chairs (from the 1950s) or laying on the bed, because there was no room when we had our suitcase at the floor. The bathroom looked like it came from a museum and the shower was not clean. Also, the bathroom was extremly small and dark with no space to put things.
